Some minor browning here and there, vol. 6, no. 23 with defects in bottom margin, with loss of some text (ca. 3 lines on each page), the last 2 leaves browned and with greater loss of about one third of the page. Vol. 7, No. 9 with loss at bottom (ca. 5 lines per page), Vol. 8 first and last leaf browned, last leaf of last issue with loss of about one quarter in back margin and some loss of text. Volume 9, No. 1 (pp. 1 - 24) with loss to top right corner and with loss of some words on each page. * Very rare German Lutheran Church newspaper, a complete run of these very early volumes. * The only two libraries recorded as having complete runs beginning with vol. 1 are the Australian Lutheran College and Monash University. The National Library's holdings commence with vol. 35 (1908). The State Library of South Australia's has a single volume 15 (1888), but then only holdings from vol. 45 (1925).
